- dont yell at them
- dont say you’re disappointed in them
- dont say “cheer up” and expect anything out of that
- dont ignore them
- fucking talk to them and just be there for them
- listen to them
- but seriously dont yell at them
Sir,take a deep breath.

THIS IS PERFECT
In honor of Children’s Book Week, here’s a photo of an awesome kid.
Ok this is weird but this is honest. Some people feel like because they attempt suicide or have self harm problems it makes them “special” or something. Ok, I’m not saying it makes you “special” and I’m not saying it doesn’t, but I’m just saying that I hate the fact that people also think “oh well this person did it took. Guess it doesn’t matter.” Like, no, it does matter. I don’t care how many people have done it, everyone’s story is still important. That’s all I’m saying, is that everyone’s story still matters.
i just saw this on facebook and it made me very very angry. self harm and having depression is in no way “cool”. and it is not okay that people are marketing other people’s pain.
